Calm before the storm

An original oil on canvas painting (18" x 24" ). Inspired by the film "The Bounty". I painted this in 2008, which is my first attempt of a painting of a ship! I wanted to express A vivid stormy sky.

    I think you've achieved your aim - a stormy sky. Also like it that you haven't made ship too black.
